Engineering

Good ideas become successful through good implementation. Professional engineering is therefore essential. Products must function optimally and be manufactured with the correct production techniques.

We can perform the complete mechanical and electronic engineering for you, including prototyping and testing.

A selection of our activities

IDpartners has designers and constructors with a lot of experience in design and engineering. We use our knowledge and expertise efficiently to make your product a success. We work for various industries with various products, such as machines in the offshore, food industry, medical products and industrial construction products. We are familiar with SolidWorks, Inventor, Siemens NX, Solid Edge and Pro / Engineer, among others.

Mechatronics are of increasing importance in the design of technical series products. We realise the combination of mechanics, electronics and software in multidisciplinary teams together with strategic partners.

Value Engineering

Value Engineering allows you to develop better products. Products that contain solely features that are required by the customer. This is the real value of the product, the value that the customer is willing to pay for.

It is is used during the (re-)design of a product in order to optimize the relation between features and cost price. Value Engineering is used on multiple levels (functional, structural and detail level) allowing for a cost price reduction or an increase in value.

Areas such as design & styling and user experience are also included in the process.

Value Engineering is an outstanding starting point for companies who have their focus on:

  • Smart customization
  • Changing from engineering to order  (ETO) to configure to order (CTO)
  • Product configurators

Result

  • Up to 30% cost reduction
  • Significant lead time reduction
  • Better product performance
  • Improved ergonomics
